Your privacy is fundamental to Ovuly. This policy explains what data the Ovuly mobile application handles, where it is stored, and your rights. In short: your data is stored securely in Apple iCloud — never on Ovuly servers. You can optionally export to Apple Health for portability.
1. Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers. There is no account system, no analytics SDK, and no advertising tracker in the App. We have zero access to your health information. Your data is stored securely in Apple iCloud using end-to-end encryption — never on Ovuly servers or shared with anyone else.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
The following data is stored on your device and synced securely via Apple iCloud using end-to-end encryption. This data is not accessible to Ovuly or any third party.

3. Apple Health (HealthKit)
With your explicit permission, the App may read data from Apple Health to enhance cycle insights, and write data to Apple Health so you can export your information for portability or use with other apps.

All HealthKit data stays on your device and is governed by Apple's HealthKit privacy protections. You can grant or revoke access at any time in Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices.
We never access HealthKit data in the background, and we never transfer HealthKit data off your device or to any third party.
4. Subscriptions
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details. Apple's privacy policy governs the transaction data they handle.
5. Notifications
The App may send local notifications (period reminders, daily log reminders, fertile window alerts) if you enable them. These notifications are scheduled on-device and do not involve any external push notification service or server.
6. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services. The only external communication is with Apple's StoreKit framework for subscription management.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:
- Delete individual entries within the App at any time.
- Delete all App data by uninstalling the App from your device.
- Revoke HealthKit accessin your device's Health settings.
We cannot delete your data for you because we do not have access to it.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child is using the App inappropriately, please contact us.
9. Security
Your data benefits from the security features built into iOS, including device encryption and biometric lock. Since data is stored only on your device and never transmitted, there is no server-side attack surface.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
11. Your Rights
Because we do not collect or store your personal data, traditional data-subject rights (access, portability, erasure) are already satisfied. Your data is entirely in your possession on your device. If you have questions about exercising your rights, contact us.
